It was one of the wildest and scary scenes to hit the ECWA in many years. On January 24 the fans witnessed the demise of the largest tag team to ever appear in the promotion, the 848 lb., NIGERIAN NIGHTMARES! Now in a scenario that could be even more scary, the NIGERIANS will face each other in a wild confrontation scheduled for March 7.  

It all started two shows ago, when the Nigerians were going for the Tag Team Championship. Saifu was accidentally struck by his partner Maifu, causing the smaller of the Nigerian Nightmares to be pinned. Tiki, their handler, was able to restore the small rift brewing between the two behemoths and things looked somewhat ok heading into our January event. The stage was set for the Nigerians to appear in a special Bounty Battle Royal hosted by manager, Magnum, where the winner would be able to collect a Bounty that he placed on Freak Nastty’s head. Saifu was eliminated from the Bounty Battle Royal but the larger Nightmare, Maifu went on to win and would eventually face Freak Nastty later in the evening. That’s when things would erupt into a wild scene!  

Maifu brought his longtime partner Saifu to the ring along with Magnum and handler, Tiki. Despite the size difference and all the support, Maifu would lose the match to Freak Nastty. The reason? This time, it was his own partner, Saifu who made a mistake and cost Maifu the victory. After the match, the two were chastised by an angry Magnum, who thought he had the perfect wrestlers to destroy Nastty. Although Magnum was to throw angry slaps, it was clear to see that the Nigerians were not concerned with Magnum or their handler, Tiki. The two monsters, who at a combined weight are 848 lbs, began to shove each other. Then it got even wilder!  

Magnum threw handler Tiki in between the two huge grapplers and he left. Poor Tiki would not control the mad duo and he was knocked down by his own men. The crowd sat there in shock as the Nigerian Nightmares began slapping and shoving each other more intensely. Then Commissioner Naegele came to the ring, but they wouldn’t pay attention to him. He then left the arena and came back with Prince Nana, who was a friend of the Nigerians. Even Prince Nana could not calm down the angry Nigerians. They then began to fight and things got more out of hand!  

The ECWA referees all tried to gain control and they were tossed around the ring like rag dolls. As the Nigerians kept battling each other, several other wrestlers on the roster entered the ring to restore order. They too were thrown around by the fighting Nigerians. Then, when the Nigerians kept fighting with each other, ALL THE MEMBERS of the ECWA locker room emptied to separate the two Nigerians. It was a wild brawl that took over 30 individuals to break up. Maifu was taken out the side door of the arena and Saifu was eventually gotten back to the dressing room. The roster and officials were visibly shook up. Tiki was hurt along with official Jim Dickson.  

Never has the ECWA witnessed such a brawl between such large men. And it will happen all over again, this time in an official capacity as a sanctioned match, when on March 7, Nigerian Nightmare, Saifu takes on his ex partner, Nigerian Nightmare, Maifu to settle their differences. What happens when two over 400 lbs each Nigerian Nightmares collide? We will find out when the all out war happens on March 7!
