In a Shocking ECWA moment, the ECWA Mid Atlantic Championship changed hands at the last show in November when El’ Sensationel (Sean Royal) pinned champion Dan Eckos
HERE IS WHAT HAPPENED IN A INTRIGUING TWIST!
Mid Atlantic Champion, Heavyweight Dan Eckos came to the ring accompanied by his longtime friend and partner Heavyweight Sean Royal to defend his title again st the masked El’ Sensationel who just won the Lucha Bowl match to become the No 1 Contender for Eckos’ title. Royal left to head back to the dressing room as the match started. It was an evenly matched bout that fans were enjoying when the ref got in the way and got bumped. Eckos found himself on the fallen Sensationel but with no ref to count. Eckos went to help the fallen ref. Then out of no where—another El’ Sensationel dressed as the original entered the ring while Eckos was helping the ref. The fake El’ Sensationel rolled the hurt El’ Sensationel from the ring and laid down in his place. Eckos revived the ref and returned to try and pin the fallen El’ Sensationel, not knowing it was an imposter. Then the imposter El’ Sensationel in a surprise move cradled Dan Eckos for the pin and became the NEW Mid Atlantic Title holder.

Then in what SHOCKED THE FANS AND DAN ECKOS. The imposter El’ Sensationel took off his mask and it was Dan’s long time partner Heavyweight Sean Royal. Dan Eckos and the fans could not believe it. Sean showed no emotion what so ever!

Then as announcer Joel Oresky was about to ask Sean why he did that, Valedictorian Billy Bax came out and told the fans he had master minded the entire plot. He had conned and manipulated Royal into the act of betraying his longtime friend Dan Eckos. Why? Because Bax expressed his distain for the younger Eckos. Then in another interesting twist, Valedictorian Rob Eckos (Bax’s longtime partner and brother to Heavyweight Dan Eckos) hit the ring and sided with his little brother over the issue. The older Eckos came up with a way to resolve the issue in January. He and his brother Dan challenged Bax and Royal to a tag match against them and the winning team would get the Mid Atlantic Title and Rob Eckos said there would be the title around the waist of an Eckos again and pointed to his little brother’s waist, which prompted a great reaction from the fans. It proved that blood is thicker than water. Be there to see what happens on January 24.
