The ECWA has always been a magical, fun environment for fans of all ages to escape into and to enjoy. No matter what your beliefs, troubles or problems are, the East Coast Wrestling Association has provided characters that the fans can rely on to entertain them.
By the same token, wrestlers are the same as wrestling fans in a way. They use their talents, to entertain, to escape into and to enjoy. This is the common bond that makes the interaction between fans and wrestler unique from other forms of entertainment.

With that being said. The ECWA is proud to debut it’s first ever Super Hero Character. Never in the 41 year history has the promotion ever presented a star like this. The kids should find the trusty new character fun to watch and support and the adults will hopefully be entertained by the creation of this new star.

The CAPED CRUZADER (formerly known as J.J. Cruz) debuts on January 24. Complete with an exciting entrance, new music, new look, and of course his trusty cape, the CAPED CRUZADER is hoping to make his first appearance a fun and exciting one for all the fans as he fights for
TRUTH      JUSTICE      and the ECWA WAY!

Standing in the way, hoping to spoil the debut of the Caped Cruzader on January 24 is the ever serious, ego maniac of Mr. Scott Wright. It is no secret that Wright hates the fans no matter what their age is. In the past he has had a lot of choice words for the ECWA fans and calls them every name in the book. The two time former ECWA Heavyweight Champion, Mr. Scott Wright claims that all wrestling fans are low life peasants that don’t deserved to be entertained. He also claims that fans are not needed. He would just as soon beat up his opponents without fans being present, that way he knows the fans won’t distract him and keep him from concentrating on his wins. He had a few words about the upcoming match:

Mr. Scott Wright has the following to say to ECWA fans!
"You fans are so stupid. Do you really think J.J. Cruz can now call himself the CAPED CRUZADER and represent you idiots? Every time I punch and kick him during the match, I will feel like I am punching or kicking one of you ugly, weak, clueless fans. Something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time. I will make an example of the CAPED CRUZADER and his defeat will send a message to all you dummies. How worthless all of you really are! I don’t believe in Super Heroes and Neither should you!"
