Newly crowned Heavyweight Champion, Tommy Trouble will have more than
his share of “trouble” when he makes his first tile defense on January 24. He
defends against 3 of the most successful former Heavyweight Champions in ECWA
history in a four way “Parade of Champions”. Trouble is an incredible athlete
that relies on his power and strength to defeat his opponents. He has been in
the ECWA a shorter time than his opponents, but his popularity with ECWA fans
has been growing steadily. Critics are saying that it will take more than just
fan support to pull out a win in20this one, especially with 3 former Heavyweight
Champions hot on is heels for the title.
Aden Chambers, has all the credentials making him capable to pull out
a win in this huge 4 way title match. Chambers had a lengthy title reign in 2007
as the Heavyweight Champion. In January 2008 he defeated Tommy Trouble in a
Ladder match. He went on in the April 2008 show to defeat both Tommy Trouble and
Frederick of Hollywood in a wild 3 way match up. He also upended the evil Prince
Nana in September 2008 and to cap off a successful year, he made history by
winning the coveted ECWA Super 8 Tournament, thus becoming the first local
roster member to win the Super 8 since 1998.
On a roll for over 2 years, this daredevil of the ECWA has the best chances of
going home with the ECWA Heavyweight Championship around his waist.
Frederick of Hollywood, the man who Trouble defeated for the title, is
itching to get back in the ring with a chance to regain the Championship.
Magnum, the devious little manager of Frederick, has the muscleman from tinsel
town all psyched up for this match. Standing 6’2” tall and weighing over 250
pounds, Frederick of Hollywood is an imposing figure. He is in great shape and
posses a huge threat to Trouble’s title. Mix in the recent defeat and loss of
the title to Tommy Trouble, and the annoying mastermind behind the muscle,
Magnum, and Frederick of Hollywood has a good shot at regaining the gold!
Prince Nana, is perhaps the most desperate man in the 4 way title
match. He seemed to finish 2008 a little frustrated and unfocused, which he
blames ECWA fans for. He claims they are a distraction and take away from his
concentration while performing in the squared circle. Sources tell us that Nana
went back to his homeland of Ghana over the Holidays where he took time to
reflect and meditate. While a little and unsettled at the end of 2008, fans and
critics alike should never count out this former ECWA Heavyweight Champion. He
is as ruthless as they come. He is perhaps the biggest mastermind in the history
of the promotion and just when everyone counts out the evil Prince, that’s when
he rebounds the most dangerous. Nana has proved for almost a decade to be the
most treacherous man in the ECWA. Will 2009 be his biggest year yet?
This Parade of Champions has all the makings of a classic Heavyweight
Championship Match to kick off the 2009 Championship year. 4 men, all with
different backgrounds battle for the one common thread that has bound them
together in this match. The ECWA Heavyweight Championship. Be there January 24
to see it unfold.
