Spotlight on Women’s Championship Match: Purrazzo vs. Michelle

ECWA Toys for Tots is on Saturday December 5 and it’s promising an ELECTRIC night of the best professional wrestling anywhere in the area. The night’s action is filled with heated rivalries, brutal stipulations, and a few championship matches that are must see.

One of those aforementioned championship matches is for the ECWA Women’s championship. The reigning and defending champion is Deonna Purrazzo! Purrazzo has been on an absolute tear through the pro wrestling world as of late. She first won the ECWA Super 8 Tournament and the then vacant ECWA Women’s Championship. As the fans took notice her career sky rocketed! She’s wrestled for ROH and WWE’s NXT brand recently and is making waves with her emerging talent and almost non stop schedule. So it’s only natural that every woman on the indy scene wants a piece of this so called “indy princess”.

Enter a challenger very familiar to the ECWA faithful… Renee Michelle has stepped up to the plate once again! Michelle, fans might remember, took an extended leave of absence from ECWA and the States in general as she traveled to Japan to wrestle for the Marvelous promotion. Certainly she learned a thing or two in the land of the rising sun!

Renee Michelle wants her championship back! She never actually lost it to begin with… she only vacated because of her impending trip to Japan… which is why the Super 8 was also for the ECWA Women’s championship. Purrazzo took advantage of the opportunity and now sits atop the ECWA mountain. This fact isn’t lost on the fiery Michelle, who will surely look to steal the spotlight like she’s done so many times before.

But that’s just fine by Deonna, she’s beaten some of the best women to step foot in an ECWA ring and isn’t at all fazed by this new threat. Both women have followed similar paths in their careers… training with the best to perfect their craft, traveling far and wide from the WWE onward to be able to one day say they are the best in women’s pro wrestling. It only seems fitting that these two beautiful but deadly ring warriors were on a collision course sooner rather than later.

With a Japan tour now under her belt, will we see a new Renee Michelle? Will she once again shock ECWA fans and get back the championship she never actually lost?

Deonna Purrazzo’s work ethic is quickly becoming her calling card. Will she stomp down another top ECWA women’s talent? Is she on her way to becoming the best woman ever in ECWA history?

All these questions answered and more! This is a can’t miss match-up!

“ECWA… become a fan all over again!”

Regarding Saigon vs. Carr 12/5

Had a long chat about Mr. Sean Carr this evening at ECWA HQ: 1.About him physically accosting management, officials and ring crew/security. 2. His repeated taking physical possession of the ECWA Championship belt when in fact he has yet to defeat Sài Gòn for the championship. Since Mr. Carr does not like rules and we have not yet had a clear cut winner yet, two stipulations have been added to this Saturdays ECWA Heavyweight Championship 30 Minute Iron Man Match ...
1. Pins and Submissions ONLY, no DQs or CORs
2. Tables, Ladders and Chairs are not only legal, but they are welcome!
