ECWA Super 8 Champion returns June 20 Woodbury Heights

Super 8 Champion returns to ECWA June 20 to face familiar foe

Last month at the Super 8 Tournament, a dream was realized… a man who had fought his whole life for respect… a man who was obsessed with reaching the pinnacle of professional wrestling and hoisting the Super 8 trophy finally got the chance to do it… Jason Kincaid had won the Super 8 Tournament by defeating Corey Hollis in the finals! Exhausted but triumphant, the man known as ‘The Gift’ expressed his gratitude for the fans and the ECWA for making this dream come true.

But it wasn’t his opponent in the finals that was paying the most attention… a mysterious warrior was watching from the shadows… and while this man was defeated in the first round of the tournament by Kincaid himself, he was nonetheless hungry and angry.

That man was Kai Katana.

Kai Katana and Jason Kincaid put on one of the most classic first round matches in Super 8 Tournament history. It was a high flying affair filled with huge risks and even higher rewards. The fans were red hot clamoring for more as both men put on a clinic of technical wrestling.

But at the end of the day, Katana’s anger got the best of him and he tried for that last big risk… a sky high moonsault… but it missed and Kincaid took advantage and won the match.

Ever since then, Jason Kincaid has rode a HUGE wave of momentum and stardom facing down names like Christopher Daniels, himself an ECWA Super 8 champion twice over. Kai Katana has quietly waited for his chance to pounce.

ECWA management decided to bring back Kincaid for a special match on Saturday June 20, at Raising the Bar IV… an event well known for it’s classic matches and big moments.

The search for an opponent didn’t take long. Kai Katana immediately contacted management and requested  that he be announced as Kincaid’s opponent. Not one to disagree with a dangerous man like him, they granted the request.

Now Kai Katana is out for revenge! He is incredibly angry Kincaid ended his chance at glory at the tournament and is out to permanently maim him at all costs.

It’s a HUGE REMATCH from the Super 8 Tournament, the champion Jason Kincaid returns to take on his first round opponent Kai Katana in a match that could get physical quickly and promises to be an INSTANT CLASSIC. These men hate each other and this match is for all the bragging rights!

Will Kincaid beat Katana again and prove that first round match was no fluke?

Or will the warrior from the East get his revenge and down the Super 8 champion?

Only time can answer these questions. DO NOT MISS THIS MATCH OR EVENT! The card is stacked! ECWA… ‘become a fan all over again!’
