Saigon vs. Martinez Sunday March 1

Saigon-Martinez: It’s War!

The battle over the ECWA Heavyweight Championship has turned
into an all-out war! Last month at New Year’s Resolutions IV Matt Saigon and
Ricky Martinez battled back and forth in a see saw match that saw no man gain
the upper hand… at least at first. Saigon’s will and fury would not be denied!
He would piece by piece start to dismantle the champion, his anger seething
through with every strike.

The Vietnam Phenom could see the
light at the end of the tunnel. He was closing in on something he worked so
hard to achieve… wanted so badly… and the ECWA fans were ready to start the
celebration.

But it wasn’t mean to be.

Enter in Ricky Martinez’s ‘Future of
the Business’ cohorts. As Saigon focused in on Ricky Martinez to deliver the
final blow, Kekoa and Renee Michelle entered the fray! Attacking Saigon from behind
ending the match in a DQ… Martinez and Kekoa systemically beat down Matt Saigon
as Michelle shouted instructions. ECWA security and officials struggled to gain
control of the situation.

Just when you thought it was over,
Renee Michelle used the heel of her high heel shoe and bashed Matt Saigon in
the eye! ECWA officials jumped to action with the aid of Chris Wylde and Bobby
Shields to clear the ring of the ‘Future of the Business’ and immediately
covering Saigon’s face with a towel to cover his already badly bleeding wounds.

Immediately Matt Saigon demanded a
rematch even with an unknown injury to his eye. Reluctantly, ECWA management
granted the rematch because it was unfair to Saigon to have his chance end like
that. And with an angry man chomping at the bit they have a special
stipulation.

THIS MATCH WILL NOW BE A NO DQFALLS COUNT ANYWHERE MATCH FOR THE ECWA HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP!

You have read that correctly… at Winter Challenge this Sunday March 1 it’s Matt Saigon vs.
Ricky Martinez for the ECWA Heavyweight Championship with the rulebook thrown
out the window! It’s CANES, CHAINS, and CHAOS in the ECWA arena!

Don’t miss this sure to be brutal
battle between two men who absolutely hate each other! This is going to be a
war folks! Be there to witness history!

ECWA Tag Team Championship to be decided this Saturday

K-Cup-ECWA Tag Team Titles To Be Decided Feb 21

Tag team wrestling in ECWA has never been hotter than right now! With the ECWA tag team championships vacant, ECWA matchmaker Joe Zanolle decided to not only crown new champions in a tournament but crown NEW K-Cup champions as well! And it’s been a ride the ECWA fans have thoroughly enjoyed. They’ve seen amazing high flying moves and incredible feats of strength… a tag team that brought toy guns to the ring and another who battles as medieval warriors.

            The quarterfinals saw:

Black Wall$treet defeated the Flyin’ Graysons

The Payne Brothers defeated Team America

Breaker Morant & Chris Wylde defeated Mark Harro & Kao Storm

            Bloodbound Warriors defeated The Dynamos

The matches were physical and fast paced as all eight teams looked to showcase their talents and advance to the next round. All this for a chance to etch their names in independent wrestling history and hold the storied ECWA Tag Team Championships. Black Wall$treet used their power to knock down and injure the Graysons. The Payne Brothers dominated Team America. Breaker Morant & Chris Wylde overcame a dysfunctional relationship from Mark Harro & Kao Storm. And the Bloodbound Warriors easily decimated the Dynamos.

A brutal round of intense action that left fans in awe. ECWA management wouldn’t have it any other way to decide new champions and kings of the mountain in ECWA tag team wrestling.

It’s all lead to the home stretch. Saturday, February 21 is WINTER CHALLENGE in the ECWA… a new event that decide who the NEW ECWA TAG TEAM and K-CUP CHAMPIONS will be!

Firstly is the Semi Finals. Both matches are power vs power. Whose brutality will overcome? Here’s a look at the match-ups:

Bloodbound Warriors (Greywolf & Red Scorpion) vs. Breaker Morant & Chris Wylde

The Payne Brothers (Chuck & Kyle) vs. Black Wall$treet

ECWA management will have to have security on high alert as these highly combustible  men step foot in the ring… there will be no quarter given and no love lost as it moves to see who the FINAL TWO TEAMS will be at the end of the night.

The Finals WILL TAKE PLACE the same night as the Semi Finals. Every team will look to end their matches quickly to conserve their energy for the biggest prize of them all… the ECWA Tag Team Championships and the K-Cup Tournament trophy.

            Which team will reign supreme?

Don’t miss the biggest happening in tag team wrestling! The K-Cup comes to a roaring end at Winter Challenge!

Tessa Blanchard returns to ECWA February 21 in Woodbury Heights, NJ

The Queen returns: Tessa Blanchard to defend title

The ECWA’s woman’s division has been RED HOT since the first annual Woman’s Super 8 back in October 2014. Tessa Blanchard has made her rounds challenging any and all women who think they can take her ECWA Woman’s championship from her. Recent videos show Blanchard flaunting her championship saying “she doesn’t need to show skin or use sex appeal to get noticed… she’s a wrestler.”

Needless to say the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Tully Blanchard is riding high on a huge wave of confidence after winning the Super 8 tournament, having high profile matches against former WWE diva Mickie James, and appearing numerous times on WWE television.

And that’s drawn the rage and anger of one Renee Michelle.

Michelle feels she still never lost the championship fairly in the first place and for her to see Blanchard flaunt her success has sent ECWA’s hellcat into a fury. So Renee Michelle went to work greatly improving her in ring prowess while herself appearing on WWE television.

But a wrench was thrown into her plans of getting back the Woman’s championship.

Enter Candy Cartwright. Herself a Woman’s Super 8 competitor, the bubbly Cartwright has quickly gained popularity with the ECWA fan base and proven she can hang with just about anyone in the ring. With an impressive showing in the tournament, a recent victory over Super 8 competitor Gabby Gilbert, and an amazing match between her and the aforementioned Renee Michelle just last month at New Year’s Resolutions IV Candy has positioned herself for a championship opportunity.

Renee Michelle and Candy Cartwright battled back and forth in a see saw battle at New Year’s Resolution IV for the right to challenge Blanchard for the Woman’s championship … but it ended in a time limit draw. ECWA management decided to name BOTH women as Number 1 Contenders as a result.

And so the Queen of ECWA is returning!

Tessa Blanchard is back and ready to defend her crown against two women who will certainly be no push overs. It’s a HUGE TRIPLE THREAT MATCH for the ECWA Woman’s Championship.

Will Candy Cartwright continue to shock and awe not only the crowd but her opponents with her surprising toughness to claim the championship?

Can Renee Michelle focus and control herself long enough to reclaim what she feels is rightfully hers?

Or will the incredibly intense, confident Tessa Blanchard destroy those who try to take her throne and further establish her dominance?

One thing’s for sure… this match is can’t miss and has Match of the Year candidate written all over it. DO NOT MISS your chance to see these three incredible women tear up the ECWA arena on Saturday February 21 at WINTER CHALLENGE!

“ECWA … become a fan all over again!!!”

ECWA Lumberjack Match Shields vs. Kekoa

HUGE Lumberjack
match at Winter Challenge

On Saturday, January 17, 2015 Kekoa
the Flyin’ Hawaiian and Bobby Shields went to war…. A friendship turned to
hate… a battle of wills… and for Shields at least a chance at revenge.

Just two months ago at Toys for
Tots, Bobby Shields was the ECWA Heavyweight Champion. He was riding high on
the biggest wave of popularity of his wrestling career in ECWA and certainly
the man to beat in the company. Bobby Shields was mere seconds away from
finally ending his months long feud with Ricky Martinez… he would establish
himself as the most dominant champion in ECWA in years… but it was for naught.

Kekoa would strike.

He would betray their friendship,
betray the fans, and bring a ‘Future of the Business’ into focus. In one swift
blow, Kekoa had helped Ricky Martinez become the new ECWA Heavyweight Champion.
Shields was shocked and appalled… but most of all angry.

How could someone he thought was his
friend do this to him?

And so, New Year’s Resolutions IV
came to Woodbury Heights, NJ and it was Kekoa vs. Bobby Shields in a grudge
match for the ages. Kekoa out to rid the ‘Future of the Business’ of this pesky
threat; and the former champion out for blood and revenge.

The fight was hard hitting. It was
uncomfortable. And it went all over the arena!

Kekoa and Bobby Shields hit each
other with traffic cones, random items at ringside, threw each other into walls
and tables, and even grabbed fans food/drink to hit the other with it. It
caused a huge security mess for the ECWA staff as the fans ran to get out of
dodge as the two men battled back and forth. Eventually, Kekoa would crawl away
as ECWA security held Bobby Shields back in an attempt to restore order to the
night.

Fans went crazy in support of
Shields but the match itself had no outcome. A double count-out that served no
purpose to Kekoa’s plans or the revenge sought after by they call ‘Wrestling’s
True Talent’.

ECWA matchmaker Joe Zanolle was
outraged by this display of unprofessionalism and misconduct. Moreover, he was
disappointed a match ended with no definitive outcome…. Brainstorming he came
up with a way to protect the fans, the security, and make sure that a winner
and loser would be decided.

Kekoa and Bobby Shields will happen
again… but this time in a HUGE
LUMBERJACK MATCH!
All the men from the locker room will surround the ring
and make sure neither Kekoa nor Bobby Shields can escape. Someone will have to
win, and someone will have to lose.

Will this new stipulation keep Kekoa
from running for cover? Or will he use it to his advantage as his friend Ricky
Martinez will surely lurk nearby.

Or can the former champion who was
screwed out of his championship get his revenge and get some measure of peace?

Only time can answer these
questions… join us to see this and other amazing matches as ECWA presents WINTER CHALLENGE on Saturday February
21, 2015!
