The ECWA Grandslam Champion, ADEN CHAMBERS, has a message for the current ECWA Heavyweight Champion, “Greek God” Papadon (it’s Papadon v Chambers, Mar 10 in Carney’s Point, NJ):
The ECWA Heavyweight Champion “Greek God” Papadon responds to Aden Chambers:
For Aden Chambers, 5 months felt like 5 years! That is how long it took for him to rehab his fractured femur that he incurred during the MCW Shamrock Memorial Cup on July 30, 2011 in Dundalk, MD. At that time Chambers was scheduled to return to the ECWA 44th Anniversary show on September 24th in Newark, Delaware in a highly anticipated 4 corners match for the ECWA Mid-Atlantic Title vs. Chris Wyde (then champion) vs. Bobby Shields vs. Kekoa the Flyin Hawaiian (the current champion).
All Chambers could think about during his rehab was getting back into the ring, but more specifically the ECWA ring! And why not, Chambers has had a storied career in the ECWA. He has held every championship and also won the 2008 Super 8 Tournament.
When Chambers sent word that he was back and ready for action, ECWA Matchmaker Joe Zanolle was quick to sign a match that has NEVER taken place before… Aden Chambers vs. “Greek God” Papadon!!! Now Papadon has a defense of his ECWA heavyweight Championship on March 3, 2012 in Newark, Delaware against #1 Johnny Silver. IF Papadon successfully defends the championship, then his match with Chambers on March 10th at the YMCA of Salem County in Carney’s Point, NJ (just 10 minutes from the Boys & Girls Club in Newark, DE) will be for the title!
Aden Chambers won the ECWA Heavyweight Championship on March 17, 2007! Can lightening strike twice one week shy of 5 years later on Mar 10, 2012 in Carney’s Point, NJ??????
Don’t miss it as Aden Chambers will take on the current ECWA Heavyweight Champion GreekGod Papadon for the VERY FIRST TIME EVER and perhaps the ONLY TIME!!!!!!!!!!

Chambers suffered a compound fracture to the femur and a cracked hip bone when he landed on the concrete here at the MCW Shane Shamrock Memorial Cup, July 30, 2011 in Dundalk, MD!
Chambers vs. Ricky Reyes at the Shamrock Cup moments before his injury!
EXCLUSIVE PHOTO! Here is an X-Ray of Aden Chambers fractured femur!
EXCLUSIVE PHOTO! Here is the X-Ray of Aden Chamber's femur post surgery! You can clearly see the steel rod here!
Chambers went through months of tedious rehab!
Chambers is a member of an elite group in pro wrestling, ECWA SUPER 8 Tournament winners!
Chambers has never been shy about taking risks inside, and outside, the ring!
Chambers began his ECWA career in 2004 as the OC Boyz with Shawn Patrick and Ace Darling as their mentor!
Teacher vs. student, Chambers takes on Ace Darling at the 2011 ECWA Super 8 Tournament! Chambers and Ace are the only 2 men in ECWA history to have won every championship and the Super 8!
Chambers had his first match back on January 14th, 2012 vs. Dustin Tarr!
Chambers knows what it feels like to be the keeper of the oldest heavyweight championship in independent pro wrestling history and he wants that feeling back!
But standing in his way is the current champion Papadon who knows that feeling too and has no plans to let the championship slip from his grasp!
March 3, 2012, Newark, Delaware–The East Coast Wrestling Association (ECWA) had its own beating heart ripped out tonight, when ECWA owner Mike Tartaglia joined up with Joel “Blackhart” Goodhart and his Black Heart invaders only minutes after the group won an important battle over Team ECWA, leaving them all laid out just one month before the eyes of the wrestling world fall upon it for the 2012 ECWA Super 8 tournament.
Ironically, Team Black Heart relied on more than just Tartaglia to pick up the win.
Instead, it was a monster of a man now known as Mustafa Aziz who interfered in the contests closing minutes, laying out ECWA’s resident monster – AHTU – who is usually more accustomed to laying out opponents himself. This interference by the man who refers to himself as “The Chosen One” allowed Breaker Morant, “Beautiful” Bobby “The Body” Shields, and “The True Professional” Josh Daniels to win the match over AHTU, “Heart Killer” Chris Wylde, and Kekoa The Flyin Hawaiian.
What does the future hold for the ECWA as it attempts to fend off the invaders from its former sister promotion, The Tri-State Wrestling Alliance … AND it‘s own owner? Only time will tell. ECWA, however, would be wise to sit up and take notice as more and more insurgents seem to come out of the woodwork every month.
Meanwhile, in other action, the disgruntled Fusion-DS team got a measure of revenge against their longtime rivals – and K-Cup tournament winners – The Midnight Sensations, taking back the ECWA tag titles they lost back in November at K-Cup. The win was a controversial one, considering The Sensations went immediately to ECWA official Joe Zanolle, at ringside, complaining that they had made a tag and the legal man was not pinned.
Regardless of the dubious nature of Referee Mike Kehner’s decision (and all referee decisions are FINAL), Fusion-DS were more-than-happy to gloat. “We’ve been saying for months that we were the better team,” smirked Damian Dragon. “But nobody would listen. Not the followers at ringside, those idiots we were in the ring with, nor the matchmakers. Nobody believed us. But tonight we showed them.”
Fortunately for ANOTHER ECWA champion – Heavyweight Champion Papadon – the night ended on a much better note, with another thrilling, 30+ minute defense, heading into his attempt at winning the 2012 ECWA Super 8 tournament, April 7th in Newark.
“For me, it was just another night at the office,” said Papadon, sitting in the back with a towel over his head.” And when I have another night at the office NEXT MONTH in Delaware, I’ll have the Super 8 trophy in my possession as well.”
While hiss challenger #1 Johnny Silver came out on the losing end on this night (despite some assistance from his Slophunters tag partner Alex Reynolds, who prevented Papadon from hitting Silver with the ECWA belt when referee John Finegan was knocked out), his partner Reynolds actually had a fantastic outing against TNA’s own Anthony Nese, who made his return to the ECWA for the first time since competing in the 2008 Super 8 as Maverick, defeating him in a 17 minute battle.
In addition, ECWA proudly showcased the North American debut of Shazza McKenzie, an up-and-coming Australian wrestler many feel will soon be ranked among the top women’s wrestlers in the world. McKenzie looked amazing in her defeat of Kylie Pierce, an independent wrestling star already familiar with the ECWA ring after battling Veda Scott last year.
In other action on the show, “The Sensei” Paul Lopresti defeated Mr. Ooh La La w/ Coach Jim Shorts in an impromptu wrestling match, after their Martial Arts Exhibition broke down into a fight, Corey Blaze continued to make enemies of his former fans and allies when he defeated a debuting Kid U-S-A, the young protégé of Blaze’s former partner Kid America, and featured 2012 Super 8 competitors Bandido Jr. and Azrieal made short work of The Magnum Modeling Agency’s Danny E and Ricky “The Model” Martinez w/ Gus Grand.
Complete results were as follows:
East Coast Wrestling Association, Newark, DE—Shane Strickland defeated Alex Payne [7:14] … Bandido Jr. and Azrieal defeated The Magnum Modeling Agency, Danny E and Ricky “The Model” Martinez (with Gus Grand) [8:13] … Shazza McKenzie pinned Kylie Pierce [6:21] … “Greatest American Hero” Corey Blaze defeated Kid U-S-A [3:33] … Alex Reynolds defeated Tony Nese [17:12] … “The Sensei” Paul Lopresti battled Mr. Ooh La La (with “Coach” Jim Shorts) to a no-contest in a Martial Arts Challenge and Exhibition, then won an impromptu wrestling match … Fusion-DS defeated ECWA Tag Champions The Midnight Sensations [12:10] to win the titles and become 2-time champions… Team Black Heart (Bobby Shields, Breaker Morant, and Josh Daniels, with Joel “Blackhart“ Goodhart) defeated Team ECWA (Chris Wylde, Kekoa The Flyin Hawaiian, and AHTU) [13:10] in a no-disqualification match … ECWA Heavyweight Champion “The Greek God” Papadon pinned Johnny Silver (with Alex Reynolds) [31:10] to retain his title.(03/03/2012)
